Who we are

Digital Checkup is operated by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), in partnership with the Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology (CAST). SCVO is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh EH3 6BB. CAST is a charity registered in England & Wales no. 1161998 and registered company 9544506 at 8 The Briars, Waterlooville, PO7 7YH.

What information do we collect?

Simply by browsing this website, SCVO will not record any personal data about you except your IP address. 

Your IP address is the individual identification number that is assigned to your computer when it is connected to the Internet. It is required to be used by our EU-based servers to enable you to browse the website. It is also stored for up to a month in logs to enable us to investigate errors.

We use Google Analytics cookies to track how the website is used, but personal data is not recorded and your internet (IP) address is anonymised. Find out more about how we use cookies.

For organisations based in Scotland, If you enter your contact and organisational details when completing the checkup tool, SCVO will use this information to contact you with information and resources about digital evolution.

For organisations based in other parts of the UK, If you enter your contact and organisational details when completing the checkup tool, CAST will use this information to contact you with information and resources about digital evolution.

If you start a chat session on the website, details you send to the chat and information about your checkup session will be stored in our messaging platform, Intercom.

Anonymised responses from all submissions will be analysed by SCVO and CAST to inform our work on digital evolution.

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
